We make a distinction between events and festivals:
|
| |
| Events:
|
| |
|
We think of events as gigs or shows at a single venue or stage on a single day with
one or more artists. For instance if there is a show with three different artists at 19:00 tonight
at Tings 'n Times, we think of that as a single event.
|
| |
| Festival: |
|
|
| A festival will often have multiple venues or stages, for instance the
Grahamstown festival with different venues, or the Oppikoppi festival with different stages (we see each stage as a venue).
Festivals also often run over more than one day. Again, think of the Grahamstown festival or Oppikoppi.

| On Tunegum, festivals are treated as a collection of events. You can first add a festival to Tunegum, and then
afterwards you can add the festival's individual events just like any other event. You can link each event
to the festival, and you can add the specific info (i.e. venue, start time, artist) for each event.
|
| |
| On the festival's pages, we list the individual events that are part of the festival with the specific
details for each event. These events are also listed like any other event on the artist's and venue's pages
under upcoming events.
